Information
Kisara (キサラ, 'Kisara'?), is one of the two main heroines in Engage Kiss. She is a powerful demon whose exact age is unknown, except that she is several centuries old. When Shu Ogata first found her, she was sealed inside an unknown cave on a snowy mountain. At present, she is in a contract with Shu Ogata as his partner and is the only demon who exterminate demons in Bayron City. In her human form, she takes on the appearance of a high school girl and attends high school in Bayron City. Only a few humans know of her true identity as a demon. When she is not working, she frequents Shu's house, which doubles as her office and home, and supports him in both his work and personal life.
Appearance[]
Kisara is an attractive and well-endowed young woman with silky long pink hair where she ties a ribbon on her right side and red eyes.
She is usually dressed in her school uniform, which consists of a purplish-grey top, white skirt, black socks and brown shoes. For unknown reasons, she bandages her right thigh.

In her devil form, Kisara wears a black dress along with black gloves that has cross ends in her right hand. She also wear black stockings with cross ends, and a long red ribbon dangles from her neck. She obtains a devil-like wing, a black horn with a pink gradient and carries a black-pinkish devil sword.
Personality[]
Kisara is shown to be a gentle and caring girl who enjoys taking the initiative to help her contractual, Shu Ogata. She is over-the-top madly in love with Shu and is very possessive of him. She is extremely devoted to Shu and is willing to do everything for him from slaying powerful demons to doing household chores, cooking his meals, working part-time jobs to pay for his bills, and managing the administrative work and finances of his company. Kisara can get very jealous whenever Shu interacts with his ex-girlfriend, Ayano Yuugiri. She gets depressed whenever she feels that he does not need her anymore, stating that she would be better off dead.[2]
Despite her obsession and 'yandere' like tendencies regarding Shu Ogata, she has shown a level of a maturity and compassion that goes counter to how she normally acts. For instance, she saved her love-rival Ayano on multiple different occassions, and revealed to Ayano the truth behind her contract with Shu when Ayano was about to give up on him. She deeply cares for Shu to the extent that she will prioritize his happiness over hers, and have shown reluctance to use Shu's memories of Ayano to power herself because she knows that those memories are important to him despite being jealous of Ayano.
Kisara is extremely devoted to Shu, to the point where she allows herself to be used by him even when she is aware that her romantic feelings are not being reciprocated. Kisara sometimes fantasizes about being Shu's secret girlfriend, which makes her very happy.[3] Although Kisara can exhibit yandere vibes when she gets jealous, it is always played as a comic relief and she does not do anything wicked to her love rivals or anything harmful to Shu. A more fitting love trope for Kisara might be a mix between a yeredere and undere.

Background[]
Kisara is a very powerful demon, being categorized as a super A-class demon hazard by Ayano Yuugiri. She was contracted to Shu Ogata two years ago, making her the only demon that exterminate other demons and Shu becoming the only demon user in the city. Along with Shu, the pair is described by Miles as the strongest force of the city, surpassing even the police force and all the other PMCs combined.
Currently, Kisara hides her demon origin from the public, and normally attends high school in Bayron City as a human. She is the only member of Isamu & Shu Office and the sole partner of Shu Ogata.
Abilities[]
As a super A-rank demon, Kisara is a formidable fighter who is capable of handling most demons easily after receiving her power up from doing the ritual with Shu. She also possesses the ability to phase through objects. In her devil form, Kisara exhibits super strength and speed, and can produce powerful shockwaves just from swinging her sword.

Kisara has demonstrated the ability to fly in her demon form.
Energy Projectiles[]
In her fight against Sharon, Kisara launched powerful energy projectiles from her sword that easily devastated Sharon's mecha suit.
Memory Extraction[]
Kisara made a deal with Shu Ogata through which Kisara steals Shu's memories as fuel for her powers. She can also extract the memories of dead demons which she utilizes it to gain new leads and information for Shu to investigate the incident that took his family twelve years ago.
Frequent memory erasures, according to Sharon, lead to a dulling of the senses of the victim.

- Kisara has only one follower on her social network account and the follower is Ayano Yuugiri although it is unclear if she knows the identity of her follower.
- Kisara calls the spare key given to her for Shu Ogata's home as their proof of contract.
- Her name was given to her by Shu in memory of the girl he first kissed.
